I wrote this composition for the BBC Young Composer 30-second challenge, aiming to capture the atmosphere of a relaxed, hot summer afternoon as time lazily passes by. The piece was performed by BBC musician Elizabeth Burley and was selected as one of the 18 winners of the competition.
