I wrote this composition as part of the BBC Young Composer 30 second composition challenge. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a relaxed, hot summer afternoon which time lazily passes by. The piece was performed by the BBC Musician Elizabeth Burley and was picked as one of the 18 winners of the competition.
