Brinsley performed with the University of York Symphony Orchestra in its spring concert in the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, conducted by John Stringer. Anna Thorvaldsdottir’s Metacosmos opened the evening, Charlotte Brettell was the soloist in Grieg’s Piano Concerto, and the orchestra closed with Brahms’s Fourth Symphony.1
